Who We Are

The GFWC Kentucky Barbourville Junior Woman's Study Club is the first federated Junior Woman's Club in Kentucky. We were organized in 1924 and then federated in 1926. We are part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) and the General Federation of Women's Clubs Kentucky (GFWC KY).
We have programs that we report on each year in the following areas... Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Outreach, Public Issues, GFWC Jr. Special Project, GFWC KY Jr. Special Project, Fundraising, Communication, Public Policy & Advocacy, and Resolutions.

Volunteers are paid not because they are worthless,
but because they are priceless....
